Tomorrow, 1 November 2026, is the last date to submit the AKTU examination form for the odd semester 2026-27. This is true for regular students and for carry-over (back paper) students — both. If you study in any college affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow — B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA or any other course — this deadline is for you. No exam form means no admit card, and no admit card means no exam. This guide gives you the dates, ERP steps, fees and carry-over rules in simple words.
⏰ Last date tomorrow: Regular and carry-over exam forms close on 1 November 2026 on the AKTU ERP portal, erp.aktu.ac.in. AKTU's academic calendar for 2026-27 has announced no late-fee window after this date. Do not wait for one — complete your form today.
Key Dates — AKTU Odd Semester 2026-27

Who Must Fill Which Form?
Regular students: Every student who will sit in this semester's exams must fill the regular examination form on the ERP. It is not automatic. Passing your internal exams or paying college fees does not replace this form.
Carry-over students: If you failed a paper in an earlier semester, or you could not appear in it, that paper is your carry-over paper — also called a back paper or COP. You must choose those papers in the exam form, or you will not be allowed to write them in this session.
Both apply to many students: If you are a regular student this semester and also have one or two back papers from an old semester, the ERP shows both lists together — your regular subjects and your carry-over subjects. Check both lists carefully before you pay.
New students: If you took admission this year and your college already completed an enrollment-cum-exam form during admission, still log in once and check your form status. It takes two minutes.
How to Fill the Exam Form on AKTU ERP — Step by Step
- Open the portal: Go to erp.aktu.ac.in (you can also reach the ERP from aktu.ac.in). The portal works best on a laptop or desktop browser.
- Log in: Use your User ID and password. Your User ID is your enrollment number. If you are using the ERP for the first time, complete the quick registration with your name, Aadhaar number, mobile number and university roll number, or take your login details from your college.
- Open the form: On your dashboard, click on "Fill Examination Form".
- Check your details: Read your name, course, branch and semester slowly. If anything is wrong, inform your college exam cell today itself — not after the deadline.
- Check the subject list: Your regular subjects of this semester should be listed. If you have back papers, your carry-over subjects should also appear. Select every carry-over paper you want to appear in.
- Fix subject problems first: If a carry-over subject is missing, or a wrong subject is shown, contact your college exam cell the same day and get it corrected before you pay the fee.
- Pay the fee online: Pay through the payment gateway shown on the portal (net banking, debit card and other online modes). If the portal asks for any document or photo upload, follow the size and format shown on that screen.
- Final submit and print: Submit the form, then download and print the filled form and the fee receipt. Keep both safe — you may need them for your admit card or for any correction later.
One practical tip: Do not leave this for the last evening. Lakhs of students use the ERP near the deadline, and the portal slows down. If your money is deducted but the payment shows "failed", wait 24 hours — it usually settles on its own. Still failed? Go to your college exam cell with the transaction details.
Fees — What Is Verified
AKTU charges an annual enrollment and examination fee, paid to the university. As per AKTU's enrollment notification — reported consistently by student guides and college fee structures — it is:
- Undergraduate courses (except B.Pharm): ₹7,500 per year
- Postgraduate courses: ₹10,000 per year
Carry-over papers are charged per paper. The ERP calculates the amount for the papers you select and shows the total on your payment screen before you pay.
One honest note: we could not find this year's per-paper carry-over fee in any official AKTU notice, and old blogs quote different figures from past years. Do not trust any number given by a blog, an agent or a senior — pay only the amount your own ERP screen shows, and pay only through the ERP gateway, never in cash to any person.
Carry-Over Rules in Simple Words
- A carry-over paper means you will write that paper again in this exam session, along with your regular exams.
- You can write a carry-over paper only if you selected it in the exam form and paid its fee. A paper you forget to select is a paper you cannot write this time — you will have to wait for the next cycle.
- Your Aadhaar should be linked with your university records to fill the carry-over form. If it is not linked, visit your college or university registrar office and get it done.
- If your last result shows a year-back type status (such as NPTY/NPFY), be careful: in past AKTU notices, such students had special conditions — for example, their new result was to be declared only after they cleared all pending papers. If this applies to you, talk to your college exam cell before you fill the form.
If You Miss 1 November
Be clear about this: AKTU's academic calendar for 2026-27 announces no late-fee window after 1 November 2026. In one earlier year (2022), the university did reopen the form window later with a late fee — but that was a separate, one-time decision. It may happen again, or it may not. No student should plan his semester on that hope. In short: no form, no admit card, no exam. Fill the form today.
Date Sheet: Not Released Yet
AKTU has not released the subject-wise date sheet for the odd semester yet. Only the exam window — 24 November to 27 December 2026 — is official at this time. Do not plan your preparation from date sheets forwarded on social media or printed on old blogs; many of them are from last year. When the real date sheet comes, it will appear on aktu.ac.in and on your ERP dashboard. On that day, match your subject codes with the sheet and mark your own exam dates.
💰 Money matters too: AKTU students in UG, PG and diploma courses can also get the UP Scholarship (Dashmottar). Fresh applications for 2026-27 closed on 31 October — if you have applied, read our guide to check your application status, the correction window and the payment dates, so the money actually reaches your bank account.
6 Mistakes That Can Block Your Admit Card
- Waiting for the last evening. The portal slows down, payments fail more often, and there is no time left to fix anything.
- Paying the fee but not doing the final submit. After payment, go back and confirm that your form status shows "submitted", not just "paid".
- Not checking the subject list. A missing carry-over paper or a wrong elective subject can cost you a full semester.
- Ignoring a failed payment. Wait 24 hours, check again, and if it is still stuck, reach your exam cell with the transaction ID — before the deadline, not after.
- Leaving wrong personal details uncorrected. A wrong name or date of birth creates problems at the exam centre and later on your marksheet.
- Not saving the printout and receipt. Keep the printed form and fee receipt safe. If anything goes wrong, these two papers are your proof.
