In-House Project — What This Subject Is About
The In-House Project is the single biggest subject of your entire diploma: 400 marks and 12 credits — more than half the 6th semester's marks in one subject. It is where everything from the previous five semesters comes together into one working project, built in-house at your polytechnic (L 4 – P 16).
One honest note, and it matters: the official curriculum contains no detailed syllabus section for the In-House Project — no units, no practicals and no books are listed anywhere in it. The contents list jumps from 6.2 to the Open Elective-3 section. So this post — and its PDF — honestly contain only what the curriculum actually gives: the scheme figures (L 4 – P 16, 12 credits, internal 240, external 160, total 400). In the Industrial Pathway this project is replaced by industrial training of not less than 14 weeks.
Subject 6.3 (Project) • Total 400 Marks • 12 Credits • L 4 – P 16 • 6thth Semester — Electrical Engineering • Session 2026–27
