The wait is over. The UP Board date sheet 2027 is OUT — UPMSP released it on 12 October 2026, and the Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) exams will run from 5 February to 24 February 2027. Counting from today, you have about 97 days left. That is enough time to prepare well — if you start now and follow a simple plan. Both classes start with Hindi on 5 February. The full official sheet, with every subject, is on upmsp.edu.in — always confirm your own subjects there.

Shift Timings and Practical Exams
- Morning shift (Class 10): 8:30 am to 11:45 am. Afternoon shift (Class 12): 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.
- First 15 minutes are for reading the question paper. Writing starts at 8:45 am in the morning shift and 2:15 pm in the afternoon shift. Use the reading time well — decide the order in which you will attempt the questions.
- Reach your centre early — at least 30–45 minutes before your shift, especially on the first day, so you can find your room and seat without hurry.
- Practical exams: These are expected in January 2027, in two phases, at your own school, with an external examiner appointed by the board. The board has not announced the exact phase dates yet — your school will tell you your dates. Finish your practical files and notebooks in December itself, so January stays free for revision.
Your Preparation Plan — Phase by Phase
You have about 97 days. Do not try to do everything at once. Work in four phases:
Phase 1 — November: Finish the Syllabus and Make Notes
Cover every chapter of every subject once. As you study each chapter, prepare short notes in your own words — formulas on one page, important dates on another, definitions and diagrams in brief. Mark the chapters you find weak; you will return to them. If a chapter is still untouched in your school, read it from the textbook yourself — do not wait.
Phase 2 — December: First Revision + Previous-Year Papers
Revise subject by subject, using your short notes. Start solving previous years' board papers and the board's model papers — they are free, and your school library and teachers can help you get them. Always write your answers. Reading an answer feels easy; writing it in the exam is the real skill.
Phase 3 — January: Second Revision + One Full Test Every Week
Revise everything a second time, quickly, from your notes. Take one full paper every week in real exam conditions: sit for the full time, in your own shift's timing — morning for Class 10, afternoon for Class 12. Check the paper the same day, note your mistakes, and revise exactly those topics. Practical exams also fall in this month — keep those days separate and do not let them break your rhythm.
Phase 4 — Last 10 Days (26 January to 4 February): Light Revision Only
No new chapters now. Revise only your short notes, formula charts and date lists. Attempt one last paper early in this phase if you wish, then stop. Sleep 7–8 hours every night — a fresh mind writes better answers than a tired one. Keep your admit card, pens and other things ready a day before each paper.
🗓️ A weekly rhythm that actually works:
Monday to Friday: School, then 3–4 hours of self-study at home — two subjects a day, one of them always your weakest rotation.
Saturday: Weak-subject day — only the chapters you marked weak, plus completing and organising your notes.
Sunday: Revise the whole week's work in the first half; rest in the second half. Rest is part of preparation.
Subject-Wise Tips in Brief
- Mathematics: Practise every day, even if only 45–60 minutes. Keep all formulas on one chart and revise it daily. In the board exam, steps carry marks — practise writing full solutions, not just answers.
- Science: Draw neat, labelled diagrams again and again — they fetch easy marks. Practise numericals, and write definitions in your own simple words.
- English: Practise one letter or application and one unseen passage every week. Learn grammar rules with examples, and write — reading alone does not improve writing.
- Social Science: Practise map work (locating places) regularly. For History, keep a one-page timeline of important dates. Write answers in clear points.
- Hindi and Sanskrit: Grammar (vyakaran) needs daily short practice. Learn long answers by writing them once — written practice stays in memory much longer.
When the Admit Card and Centre List Come
The board sends admit cards to your school — regular students collect the admit card from their own school, usually a few weeks before the exams. Your exam centre is printed on the admit card. When you receive it:
- Check your name's spelling, photo, roll number, subject list and centre name carefully.
- If anything is wrong, inform your school office at once — do not wait for the exam week.
- Keep two photocopies at home and keep the original safe.
- Note where your centre is and how long it takes to reach — if possible, see the route before the first paper.
- On every exam day, carry your admit card and reach well before time.
