छठा सेमेस्टर diploma का आखिरी semester है — और इसमें एक ही चीज़ हावी रहती है: major Project, जो 400 अंकों और 12 क्रेडिट का है। यह वही project है जिसे आपने 5th semester में चुना था, अब उसे जारी रखकर पूरा किया जाता है, detailed report और final presentation के साथ। इसके आसपास दो और चुनाव हैं — एक Program Elective-02, एक Open Elective-02 — साथ में Entrepreneurship and Start-up, और SCA।
इस semester को करने का एक बिल्कुल अलग तरीका भी है: Industrial Pathway — एक semester की industrial training (minimum 14 हफ़्ते), उतने ही 20 क्रेडिट और 650 अंक, जिसमें Entrepreneurship online, Industrial Hands On Practice, Industrial Project और Seminar हैं। आप जो भी रास्ता चुनें, यह वह semester है जो तय करता है कि आप polytechnic से कैसे निकलते हैं — एक project, एक report और एक viva के साथ।

1. Construction Management (Program Elective-02, Option A)
Construction site अपने आप में एक छोटा संगठन है — engineers, contractors, मज़दूर, materials, machines, पैसा और deadlines, सब एक साथ चलते हुए। Construction Management Program Elective-02, Option A है (या आप Advance Construction Technology ले सकते हैं)। यह आपको उस संगठन को चलाना सिखाता है: काम की योजना बनाना, उसे schedule करना, site को organise करना, हिसाब रखना, quality control करना और लोगों को सुरक्षित रखना।
2. Advance Construction Technology (Program Elective-02, Option B)
आधुनिक construction अब सिर्फ़ ईंट और mortar नहीं रहा — वह ready mix concrete, tower cranes, prefabricated panels, tunnel boring machines और self-compacting concrete है। Advance Construction Technology Program Elective-02, Option B है (या आप Construction Management ले सकते हैं)। यह बड़े आधुनिक projects में इस्तेमाल होने वाली advanced materials, methods और machines का दौरा है।
3. Entrepreneurship and Start-up (Theory)
Entrepreneurship कोई जन्मजात गुण नहीं है — यह एक skill है जिसे सीखा जा सकता है। Entrepreneurship and Start-up आपको उद्यमिता की भावना और साधन संपन्नता सिखाता है: एक business idea कैसे खोजें, उसे market में कैसे परखें, funding कहाँ से आएगी, कीमत कैसे तय होगी, और एक business plan कैसे लिखा जाता है।
4. Renewable Energy Technology (Open Elective-02, Option A)
दुनिया की energy का वर्तमान और भविष्य अब sun, wind, biomass और water से जुड़ा है — और एक civil engineer को green buildings और sustainable sites पर इनसे वास्ता पड़ता है। Renewable Energy Technology Open Elective-02, Option A है (या आप Energy Conservation and Audit ले सकते हैं)। यह solar, wind, bio-energy और अन्य renewable sources के fundamentals सिखाता है।
5. Energy Conservation and Audit (Open Elective-02, Option B)

Project को weekly आदत बनाइए, आखिरी महीने की panic नहीं: diary और report को शुरुआत से ही बढ़ाते रहिए। Electives को आखिरी तक मत टालिए — Entrepreneurship के business plan और Open Elective की theory को project के साथ-साथ चलाइए। Industrial Pathway चुन रहे हैं तो 14 हफ़्तों की training की planning पहले से कीजिए।

Project & Student Centred Activities
Project — यह क्या है
civil engineering diploma के छात्रों के लिए major projects इसलिए ज़रूरी हैं क्योंकि वे practical knowledge, real-world experience और problem-solving skills देते हैं जो कक्षा की पढ़ाई अकेले नहीं दे सकती। Project यह दिखाता है कि आप site पर काम कर सकते हैं, team के साथ काम कर सकते हैं और अपनी engineering knowledge का इस्तेमाल एक real problem पर कर सकते हैं।
नोट: 5th semester में चुना गया project ही 6th semester में जारी रहेगा।
एक major project activity के रूप में हर छात्र से यह अपेक्षा की जाती है कि वह site पर operations का अध्ययन करे और एक detailed report तैयार करे।
Project Assessment — Internal (240 अंक, जैसे छपा है)
Scheme में internal assessment इस तरह दिया गया है:
- Attendance and punctuality — 40
- Project Progress Presentation-I — 50
- Project Progress Presentation-II — 50
- Project Model & final Presentation — 90
- Report Writing — 60
PDF में गड़बड़ी: ये पाँच criteria जोड़कर 290 (40 + 50 + 50 + 90 + 60) होते हैं, न कि छपा हुआ total 240। Scheme में 400 अंकों का कुल भी दिया गया है — 240 internal + 160 external (3 hrs)। दोनों एक साथ सही नहीं हो सकते। यहाँ criteria और total उसी तरह दिए गए हैं जैसे PDF में छपे हैं; अपने संस्थान से पुष्टि कर लें कि internal marking किस तरह होगी।
छठा सेमेस्टर — Industrial Pathway (Classroom Route का विकल्प)
6th semester को classroom route की जगह एक semester के Industrial Training / Internship pathway के रूप में भी किया जा सकता है (optional, usual classroom training के साथ)। कुल: 20 क्रेडिट, 650 अंक।
- 6.1 Entrepreneurship and Start-ups (ONLINE mode) — Humanities & Social Science (Theory), 100 अंक, Board द्वारा आयोजित 3 hrs की external theory exam।
- 6.2 Industrial Hands On Practice — Industrial Training, 350 अंक (150* faculty mentor द्वारा मूल्यांकित + 200** industry द्वारा मूल्यांकित)।
- 6.3 Industrial Project — Industrial Training, 100 अंक (50* faculty mentor + 50** industry)।
- 6.4 Seminar — in-house, 100 अंक internal, संस्थान में expert committee के सामने seminar presentation / viva-voce।
नियम: industrial training की अवधि 14 सप्ताह से कम नहीं होनी चाहिए; industry को संबंधित क्षेत्र में पंजीकृत होना चाहिए और उसके पास पर्याप्त infrastructure होना चाहिए; छात्र को faculty mentor और industry supervisor दोनों की निगरानी में काम करना होगा; training के अंत में एक detailed report और presentation देनी होगी।
Student Centred Activities (SCA) — 50 अंक
overall personality development के लिए एक प्रावधान, जिसमें co-curricular activities जैसे extension lectures, NSS, NCC, sports, cultural activities और community service शामिल हैं। SCA के 50 अंक internal assessment के रूप में दिए जाते हैं, और छात्र की भागीदारी तथा योगदान के आधार पर मूल्यांकित किए जाते हैं।
