How This Library Is Organised

The library has two levels, so you can go as broad or as exact as you need:

1st Year — The Common Syllabus (All Branches)

The 1st semester is common to all diploma branches. Each subject below has its own page and its own free PDF:

Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

How to Use Your Syllabus — 4 Simple Steps

1. Find your subjects. Open your branch and semester above and note the exact subject list. This list — not a senior's memory — decides what your paper can ask.
2. Check the marks and credits. Every semester page and PDF prints the examination scheme: theory and practical marks, and the credits of each subject. Read it once, so you know which subjects carry the most weight.
3. Plan the semester. The syllabus gives each unit a share of teaching periods. Give your time in roughly the same share: big units early, small units in short bursts, and the practicals list beside your lab file from week one.
4. Note the reference books. Every subject page lists the books named in the official syllabus for that subject. Pick one book per subject from that list and stay with it — the paper is set from the syllabus, and these books follow it.

Old Syllabus or New Syllabus? Read This Before You Download Anything Else

BTEUP revised the diploma syllabus, and the 2026-27 syllabus is the current, approved one — approved in the Board's C.D.C. meeting of 16 July 2026. In the change, some subjects also moved semesters: for example, Operating System now sits in CSE 3rd semester (subject 3.1), where older PDFs and older notes may still show it in a different place. If a file you find elsewhere does not match the semester arrangement on this page, it is almost certainly the old syllabus. Study from the new one — your paper will be set from it.
