BTEUP Electrical Engineering Complete Syllabus 2026-27 — All Years, All Semesters, PDF Download

This is the complete BTEUP Electrical Engineering syllabus 2026-27 for the whole diploma — Electrical syllabus 2026-27 all semesters in one place, in one free PDF. The 1st year (11 subjects, common for all 41 engineering branches), the full 3rd semester (600 marks, 20 credits), the full 4th semester (650 marks, 20 credits), the full 5th semester (650 marks, 20 credits) and the full 6th semester (650 marks, 20 credits) are all here — with examination schemes, units, practicals and marks. The BTEUP Electrical syllabus PDF download is free, and every subject below links to its own detailed post and its own subject PDF.

One honest note up front: the 2nd year (3rd and 4th semester) is now included in this file. It comes from the official 2nd Year Electrical Engineering curriculum (folder2627), approved by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. Lucknow in the C.D.C. meeting held on 16.07.2026 — the approval line appears on every page of the file (95 times). One thing to know: BTEUP’s own file prints “YEAR 2025-2026” on its cover, while the scheme it carries is identical to the 2025-26 scheme — so the content is the same either way.

About the PDF — What It Is, How It Is Made, How to Use It

This PDF is compiled by KAMALDNP Academy from the official BTEUP 2026-27 curriculum (NEP-2020). The 3rd and 4th semester content comes from the official 2nd Year Electrical Engineering curriculum (folder2627), approved by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. Lucknow in the C.D.C. meeting held on 16.07.2026. The 5th and 6th semester content comes from the 3rd Year Electrical Engineering curriculum approved by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. Lucknow in the C.D.C. meeting held on 16.07.2026. The 1st-year content comes from the official 1st-year common curriculum. Topic lists follow the official syllabus; the short plain-English explanations are the author's own summaries, not syllabus text.

How to download: scroll to the Download section at the bottom of this post and click the download button. A 15-second timer runs, and then the PDF downloads automatically — no sign-up, no payment. How to use it: the contents page at the front of the PDF lists every subject with its real starting page. Find your semester, jump to the page, and read that subject. Each subject starts on a new page, and the scheme tables show the marks and credits for every subject, so you can plan your study around the weightage.

Two things the PDF says plainly, because they matter. First, for the 1st year, the scheme is now verified from the official 1st-year curriculum — the 1st semester carries 18 credits and 900 marks, and the 2nd semester 22 credits and 1050 marks, as shown in the 1st Year section below. Second, the official curriculum gives no detailed syllabus section for the In-House Project (6.3) — no units, practicals or books — so that PDF contains only the scheme figures (400 marks, 12 credits). And the 6th-semester Industrial Pathway per-row internal/external split for Entrepreneurship (6.1) and Seminar (6.4) is reproduced exactly as read from the curriculum; please confirm it with your institute.

1st Year (Common for All Branches)

The first year of a BTEUP diploma runs on one common curriculum for 41 engineering branches, so these 11 subjects are the same whether you are in Electrical, Computer Science, Mechanical or Civil. The scheme below is from the official 1st-year curriculum (folder2627, NEP-2020), corrected and approved by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. Lucknow in the C.D.C. meeting held on 16.07.2026. Each period is 60 minutes, each session is 16 weeks, with at least 14 effective teaching weeks.

About the OR choices: at Sr. No. 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 the institute chooses which alternative runs in the 1st semester; the other alternative then runs in the 2nd semester (1.3 ↔ 2.3, 1.4 ↔ 2.4, 1.5 ↔ 2.6). An alternative once selected in the 1st semester is not selected again in the 2nd semester.

No paper codes: the official 1st-year curriculum gives no paper codes — subjects are numbered 1.1–1.6 in the 1st semester and 2.1–2.7 in the 2nd semester only.

Qualifying subject: Environmental Sciences (2.7, Q) is an audit subject — you must appear and pass, but its 60 external marks are not counted for percentage or division. A 4-week summer internship (Internship–I) is organised after the 2nd-semester examination and is evaluated in the 3rd semester.

2nd Year — 3rd & 4th Semester

2nd year is where Electrical Engineering stops being general and starts being electrical. 3rd semester (600 marks, 20 credits) builds the core — power generation, machines, circuits and measurements — with a 4-week summer internship at the end. 4th semester (650 marks, 20 credits) moves on to transmission and distribution, power electronics, automation and renewable energy. Both semesters come from the official 2nd Year Electrical Engineering curriculum (folder2627), approved by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. Lucknow in the C.D.C. meeting held on 16.07.2026 — the approval line appears on every page of the file (95 times). One honest note: BTEUP’s own file prints “YEAR 2025-2026” on its cover. The scheme it carries is identical, subject for subject and mark for mark, to the 2025-26 scheme, so the content is the same either way — it is treated here as the 2026-27 syllabus on the strength of the folder placement and the 16.07.2026 approval.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which years and semesters does this complete Electrical syllabus cover?
The 1st year (11 subjects, common for all branches), the full 3rd semester (600 marks, 20 credits), the full 4th semester (650 marks, 20 credits), and the full 5th and 6th semesters — 14 final-year subjects and all four semester schemes — all in one PDF.

Is this the official BTEUP Electrical syllabus for 2026-27?
Yes — for everything in it. The 3rd and 4th semester content is from the official 2nd Year Electrical Engineering curriculum (folder2627), approved by BTEUP in the C.D.C. meeting held on 16.07.2026, with the approval line on every page of the file (95 times). The 5th and 6th semester content is from the official 3rd Year Electrical Engineering curriculum approved in the same meeting, and the 1st-year subject areas are from the official 1st-year common curriculum. One honest note: BTEUP’s own 2nd-year file prints “YEAR 2025-2026” on its cover, while the scheme it carries is identical to the 2025-26 scheme — so the content is the same either way.

How do I download the complete Electrical syllabus PDF?
Scroll to the Download section below and click the download button. A 15-second timer runs, and then the PDF downloads automatically. It is free — no sign-up and no payment.

The 2nd-year file’s cover says 2025-2026 — is this really the 2026-27 syllabus?
The file sits in BTEUP’s 2026-27 folder (folder2627) and carries the 16.07.2026 approval line on every page (95 times), so it is treated here as the 2026-27 syllabus. The scheme it carries is identical, subject for subject and mark for mark, to the 2025-26 scheme — so the content is the same either way. If your polytechnic publishes a different 2nd-year scheme, follow your polytechnic.

Where are the subject-wise posts and PDFs?
Every subject in this post links to its own detailed blog post and its own subject PDF — 11 first-year subjects, the 3rd and 4th semester subjects, and 14 final-year subjects. The 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semester overview posts are also in the Related Posts section below.

Is the PDF really free?
Yes. The complete BTEUP Electrical Engineering syllabus 2026-27 PDF is free to download, prepared by KAMALDNP Academy from the official BTEUP curriculum.
